Stop the buses!
At yesterday's meeting, officials from the City of London said that although they understood the taxi trade is concerns, unfortunately they had to be guided by TfL, even though all the statistics provided by TfL's were proven to be faulty and unbalance.
The City of London seems to be hoodwinked by a devious TfL, out to protect their own interests in buses at the expense of our livelihoods.
Even under an avalanche of evidence proving Taxis will not be detrimental to the bank junction scheme and knowing that their decision will affect 25,000 families, The city reluctantly told us they are not going to listen to reason.
Well that rationale is a two way street !
Even though we know our argument is with TfL and not the City of London, lies at the heart of the square mile.
Unfortunately we have no other option, so there will be a return to direct action where we will be hitting the city at various points and various rush hours from Monday, 27 February, until the end of this very unreasonable and discriminating Bank Junction scheme.
Our target will be TfL, more specifically TfL buses.
We will set out to stop TfL buses running for two hours every single day, Monday to Friday, at various locations and times (mornings 8 till 10 - evenings 16:30 till 18:30).
Is TfL and the City wish to impede our trade, then we have no choice other than to impede theirs.
We are not going to standby and accept a situation where everyone, including our enemies no we are right, but still insist in trying to bankrupt us.
We have nothing left to lose, for if we lose the city, we will lose much of our livelihoods.
Make no mistake, this is a fight for survival.
